Simeon Peebler, Game Designer/Programmer, Musician/Songwriter, and Developer of Brain Bump (a trivia game for the Amazon Kindle), BLiP Bloink (for the iPhone), updates the world on his research and activities.
More Information About Me
Simeon Peebler started out in the early 1980s programming his Commodore 64 and making his own games and music when he should have been doing "more appropriate" things. Flash forward to the present day; after years in game development and technology, he works as a game designer and programmer and has been working the last few years in teaching game design and game development at a leading digital arts college in Chicago Tribeca Flashpoint Academy In 2011, Simeon created Brain Bump, a trivia game for the Amazon Kindle. He also has been working on composing original music and songwriting (go to his songwriting site and hear his latest album).

Short Bio
Simeon Peebler is an award-winning game developer whose career has spanned the full spectrum of the game industry. In addition to his dozen years in the game business, Simeon worked as a programmer in other industries including work as a senior engineer and consultant for a trading technology firm located in Chicago where he invented new technologies for the trading world.
He is credited on many PC CD-ROMS as a programmer, designer, and composer including titles such as Where's Waldo? Exploring Geography, Eraser: Turnabout, Warheads SE, You Don't Know Jack: The 5th Dementia, and Veggie Tales: Veggie Carnival. Through his own indie game development and publishing company Brain Block Interactive, Simeon designed, engineered and marketed many downloadable PC games which include Logication, Super Bubbles, Bloink, Arcade Mah Jongg and Ammo Boy. Local game companies who employed or contracted Simeon include Imagination Pilots Entertainment (formerly owned and operated by Howard Tullman), totalPlay, FASA Interactive, Jellyvision, and itoons. In addition to his PC work, Simeon has designed and programmed web games for Nickelodeon for such properties as Sponge Bob Square Pants, Rug Rats, and Fairly Odd Parents.

Simeon has written and produced several albums, and enjoys playing guitar, piano, ukulele and performing his brand of original Folk-spirited music.
He developed and released the game BLiP Bloink for the iPhone in 2009 and continues to develop games for a variety of emerging platforms, including Brain Bump for the Amazon Kindle. He also composes music and enjoys songwriting.
